or throw it straight in the dishwasher. It takes about 10 seconds to clean

How do I clean the probe?
Allow the probe to cool before cleaning. The probe is dishwasher safe for easy clean-up, thanks to its durable ceramic tip design. You can also wash with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly before returning it to the charger or storage dock. Keeping the charging contacts clean and dry will help maintain reliable performance and extend the life of your thermometer.
